SEAMASTER POLARIS
REF. 1960257
The Omega Seamaster Polaris (Ref. 196.0257) is an iconic neo-vintage timepiece introduced in the early 1980s, famous for its avant-garde, geometric design inspired by Gérald Genta.
The model features an ultra-thin 31.5 mm case (with a thickness of just 6.5 mm) crafted entirely from brushed titanium, highlighted by a fixed bezel with a unique, seamless bimetallic inlay of 18k yellow gold. Equipped with a flat sapphire crystal, a solid pressure-fit titanium caseback featuring the Seamaster Hippocampus logo, and water resistance up to 100 meters, it is fitted with a matching two-tone integrated titanium and gold bracelet with a hidden deployant clasp.
The matte grey or black dial features a clean, minimalist aesthetic with no numerals, showcasing Tritium luminescent dot markers and baton hands, central seconds, and a date window at 3 o'clock. At its heart beats the high-precision Omega Caliber 1420 quartz movement, offering exceptional timekeeping accuracy and a battery life of approximately 24 to 36 months.
